The Economic Operation Bureau of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has provided guidance for regional governments to ensure coal supply during the heating season.
China's average daily coal production kept at a relatively high level recently, and unified management thermal plants nationwide held thermal coal inventory of more than 160 million tons, with about 30 million tons of coal (5500 kcal) stored at major ports in Northern China, a high level in recent years, according to NDRC.
