Poland's coal production down by 14.1% YoY in Jan

According to data released by Central Statistical Office of Poland, Poland's coal production totaled about 107.68 million tons in 2022, up by 0.5% YoY. In detail, the production of hard coal totaled 53.06 million tons, down by 3.9% YoY, and that of lignite totaled about 54.62 million tons, up by 5.1% YoY.
In January 2023, Poland's coal production totaled 81.03 million tons, down by 14.1% YoY and 9.1% MoM. In detail, the production of hard coal was 4.04 million tons, down by 8% YoY and 8.8% MoM, and that of lignite was about 4.06 million tons, down by 19.5% YoY and 9.5% MoM.
