On February 18, the first steel plate was rolled from the mill of the 3,500mm medium and thick plate project of Lu'an Steel Holding Group, and the size, shape and surface quality of the steel plate were good, marking the success of the thermal load test of the mill of the medium and thick plate project.
With the design annual production capacity of 2.4 million tons, the medium and thick plate production lines of Lu'an Group mainly produce carbon structural steel, low-alloy high-strength structural steel, structural steel for high-rise buildings, welded structural steel, structural steel for bridges, weathering structural steel, structural steel for boilers and pressure vessels, structural steel for ships and marine engineering, steel plate for automobile girders, pipeline steel, high-strength wear-resistant steel plate for construction machinery and other steel products. Product specifications include: steel plate thickness 8mm-150mm; steel plate width 1,500mm-3,200mm; steel plate length 4,000mm-18,000mm.
