NEA: China's annual wind and solar power generation exceeds 1000TWh for first time

On the basis of data from China's National Energy Administration (NEA), in 2022, China increased the total installed wind and solar capacity by 120 gigawatts, hitting a record high by exceeding 100 gigawatts for three consecutive years. Moreover, the country's power generation from wind and solar reached 1,190TWh for the first time, a year-on-year increase of 21%, accounting for about 13.8% of the total power consumption.
