Jiangte Electric's lithium battery new energy projects of RMB10 billion settled down in Yecheng, Xinjiang

On February 12th, the government of Yecheng County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, signed a framework agreement on lithium battery new energy industrial cooperation with Jiangxi Jiangte Electric Group Co., Ltd.
According to the agreement, the company will invest RMB10 billion (USD1.46 billion) within three years in Yecheng to implement a lithium ore mining & dressing project of 5,000,000tpy, a lithium salt production project of 50,000tpy and a cathode material project of 200,000tpy. These projects are expected to create total output values of RMB73 billion (USD1.07 billion) after going into full production.
