Raw coal output of Inner Mongolia's enterprises above designated size hits a record high in 2022

Data from Statistics Bureau of Inner Mongolia showed that, in 2022, the raw coal output of industrial enterprises above designated size in Inner Mongolia reached a record high of 1.174 billion tons, an increase of 140 million tons or 10.1% over the same period of previous year, maintaining a double-digit growth trend. Among them, the output in December recorded 103.901 million tons.
In the year of 2022, annual raw coal outputs of Ordos, Xilin Gol League and Hulun Buir all reached a record high, and the output of industrial enterprises above designated size in these three major producing areas were 779 million tons, 135 million tons and 104 million tons, up by 11.7%, 10.7% and 9.6% YOY, respectively, with their total outputs accounted for 86.7% of that in the whole region, representing an increase of 1.2 percentage points over 2021.
