Henan's installed PV capacity to exceed 20GW by 2025

On February 6, the Implementation Plan on Henan's Carbon Peak issued by the government of Henan mentioned to push forward new energy development further. By 2025, Henan's installed wind capacity connected to grid would reach 27 gigawatts and installed photovoltaic capacity connected to grid would exceed 20 gigawatts. By 2025, the provincial installed renewable power capacity would reach more than 50 gigawatts, accounting for more than 40% of the total installed capacity. By 2023, its total installed renewable power capacity would exceed 80 gigawatts, accounting for more than 50% of the total installed capacity.
