According to the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) on January 29, in 2022, the crude steel output of major steel mills in China totaled 815 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.07%, and the cumulative daily output of crude steel reported about 2.23 million tons.
In particular, in December last year, major steel mills produced a total of about 64.10 million tons of crude steel, down by 8.2% from the same period last year, and the daily output reached nearly 2.07 million tons, an increase of 2.02% month-on-month.
