Shanxi aims to produce 1.37 billion tons of coal in 2023

According to Shanxi's 2023 government work report, the province aims to speed up the construction of its green energy supply system in the next five years, with advanced coal production capacity accounting for almost 95% of the total and the installed capacity of new energy and clean energy amounting to 54% of the total. The province vows to ensure production safety and release more advanced coal capacity this year, and aims to achieve annual coal production of 1.37 billion tons.
