Liaoning announces first 68 mineral deposits of key importance

The Department of Natural Resource of Liaoning Province recently announced the first batch of 68 mineral deposits of key importance after reviewing and analyzing the province-wide mineral resources survey and exploration results. The first batch include 20 energy minerals deposits such as coal and oil shale, 28 metallic ore deposits like gold, iron and light rare earth, and 20 nonmetallic ore deposits including diamond and magnesite.
