Australia initiates AD and CVD exemption investigation on certain hollow structural sections from China

On December 23, 2022, the Anti-Dumping Commission of Australia issued the Announcement No.2022/110 stating that in response to the application submitted by an Australian company, it initiated the anti-dumping duty (AD) exemption investigation on ceramic hollow structural sections imported from mainland China, South Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan China and launched the countervailing duty (CVD) exemption investigation on ceramic hollow structural sections imported from mainland China.
The products applying for exemption are chrome plated steel tube in 25mm outside diameters (circular) and chrome plated steel tube 30x15mm (oval). The exemption goods are classified to the tariff subheading 7306 . 30 . 00 . 31 for circular tube and 7306 . 69 . 00 . 10 for oval tube.
