WBMS: Global lead market sees supply shortage of 124,000 tons in Jan-Oct

According to the data released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) on Wednesday, the global lead market saw supply shortage of 124,000 tons from January to October 2022, while the supply dedicit recorded 90,100 tons in 2021
In the first ten months of this year, the global output of refined lead (primary and secondary) reached 12,242,200 tons, an increase of 3.9% over the same period last year . China's apparent demand is estimated to be 6,353,000 tons, up by 408,000 tons from the same period last year, accounting for 52% of the global total demand . During the same period, the apparent demand of the United States decreased by 4,000 tons year-on-year . In October, the global refined lead output posted 1,282,800 tons, while the demand recorded 1,286,000 tons.
