China Shenhua wins remaining 30% equity of Jinjie Energy with RMB9.965 billion

China Shenhua announced on December 16 that the company won 30% equity of Guoneng Jinjie Energy Co., Ltd. publicly listed and transferred by Ducheng Weiye at a base price of RMB9.965 billion (USD1.429 billion). After the completion of this deal, the company's shareholding in Jinjie Energy increased from 70% to 100%.
Jinjie Energy is a comprehensive energy enterprise integrating coal and electricity. Its Jinjie Power Plant plans to build 5.72 million kilowatts of coal power units, with an installed capacity of 3.72 million kilowatts; as of the benchmark date, the recoverable reserves of Jinjie Coal Mine under Chinese standards reach 1.35 billion tons, and the verified capacity is 18 million tons per year.
