Hainan Mining: 20,000tpy battery grade lithium hydroxide project (phase one) breaks ground

Hainan Mining announced recently that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xingzhihai New Material, held a ceremony on December 15th to start building a battery grade lithium hydroxide project (phase one), marking that the project broke ground formally. The project will include production lines, warehouses and supporting facilities for 20,000tpy lithium hydroxide monohydrate and will have a construction period of 15-18 months with a total investment of RMB1.056 billion (USD151.43 million), including the fixed asset investment of RMB900 million (USD129.06 million).
