Xiamen Tungsten to build 5,000tpy high-performance rare earth magnetic material project

On December 14, Xiamen Tungsten announced that its fully owned subsidiary Jinlong Rare Earth planned to invest RMB635.80 million (USD91.36 million) in building a 5,000tpy high-performance rare earth magnetic material project. The company will make use of exiting workshops and build three new workshops and buy production equipment and related auxiliary facilities for the project; and when in operation, the project will have a 5,000t production capacity of high-performance rare earth magnetic materials used in energy-saving motors.
