Prices of imported iron ore at ports in China saw an upward trend during this month because of the price increase in futures market and international market. Besides, prices of Chinese origin iron ore in major regions such as Hebei and Shandong rebounded due to the price increase of imported iron ore at ports and the upward price trend in international market, and those in Liaoning were generally stable, while those in Shanxi went down on decreased demand from steel mills.
