Lidao New Material gets approval for EIA report of 86000tpa new aluminum project

Lidao New Material announced that recently, Lidao New Energy (Anhui) Co., Ltd. received the reply on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report of Lidao New Energy (Anhui) Co., Ltd.'s 86,000tpy new energy battery current collector materials project issued by Bengbu Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment. The reply agrees with the conclusion of the Report in principle.
The project is located in Chengnan Industrial Park, Wuhe County, Bengbu, Anhui, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan (170 million US dollars) and an annual production capacity of 86,000 tons, including 40,000 tons of carbon coated aluminum foil and 6,000 tons of composite strip in the first phase, and 80,000 tons of aluminum plate, strip and foil in the second phase, of which 40,000 tons of plain foil is proposed to be used as carbon coated aluminum foil blank in the first phase. Casting is not included in the production of this project.
