DMEGC to invest RMB10 billion in 20GW high-efficiency cell project

Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics Co., Ltd. announced on November 29 that the company intends to set up a subsidiary in Xuzhou, Yibin of Sichuan to invest in a 20-gigawatt high-efficiency cell project step by step. The total investment of the project is RMB10 billion (USD1.4 billion), including a fixed-asset investment of RMB5 billion (USD700 million).
The project is scheduled to be implemented by three phases. The first phase is to produce 6 gigawatts of new high-efficiency TOPCon cell per annum, the second phase is to produce 6 gigawatts of new high-efficiency TOPCon cell per annum, and the third phase is to develop 8 gigawatts of the next-generation high efficiency cell per year.
