On November 22, the monazite comprehensive utilization project with the largest single-mine production capacity in China commenced construction in Chongyi, Jiangxi.
The project is one of national state-owned projects to be built in Jiangxi and also one of the ten major uranium projects in China. With a total investment of about RMB280 million (USD39.15 million), it mainly recovers strategic resources including uranium, thorium and rare earth.
