According to the data published by Indian Ministry of Coal, the country produced 69.6 million tons coal (Including coal and lignite) in October, an increase of 2.9% YOY and 14.9% MOM. In particular, the output of lignite was 3.49 million tons, down by 6.1% year-on-year but up by 33.2% month-on-month.
In January-October, India's coal production nationwide, including lignite, totaled 744 million tons, up by 82.6 million tons or 12.5% from the same period of last year.
