Gotion Kehong's 100,000tpy high-end cathode material project goes into operation

On the morning of November 8, Gotion High-tech's subsidiary Hefei Gotion Kehong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. held a launching ceremony for its 200,000tpy high-end cathode material project. Main product of this project is high-performance LFP cathode material with single cell energy density ≥210Wh/kg, mainly used in high-end new energy automobile and energy storage products.
With a total designated production capacity of 200,000tpy, the project consists of four phases. In particular, phase one of 50,000t capacity went into operation on June 8, 2022 and phase two of 50,000t capacity commenced operation on November 8. When phase two is operational, Gotion Kehong has a 100,000tpy high-end cathode material production capacity now, and when the whole project is built and operational, the company is expected to achieve a total production value of over RMB10 billion (USD1.38 billion).
