Huayou Cobalt to invest in building 50ktpy high-purity nickel project with RMB1.49 billion

Huayou Cobalt announced on October 28 that the company planned to invest in the construction of 50ktpy (metal) high-purity nickel project through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Huayou Quzhou. The design scale of this project with a total investment of RMB1.49 billion (USD205.47 million) is to produce 30,000t (metal) of nickel sulfate and 20,000t (metal) of nickel cathode annually.
