Yunnan to see raw coal output of 90 million tons by 2025

On October 27, seven authorities including the Department of Natural Resources of Yunnan Province, Yunnan Development and Reform Commission, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Yunnan Province, Yunnan Provincial Department of Finance, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Yunnan Province, the Department of Commerce of Yunnan Province, and Energy Administration of Yunnan Province jointly issued the General Plan of Mineral Resources of Yunnan Province (2021-2025).
According to the Plan, by 2025, the level of basic geological survey will be further raised, the layout of mineral resources exploration and development will be continuously optimized, the ability to guarantee the sustainable development of mineral resources will be gradually enhanced, the efficiency of resource utilization will be significantly upgraded, and the ecological environment in mining areas will be further improved. By 2025, the raw coal output of Yunnan will reach 90 million tons.
