Da Ming International's stainless steel sales down by 2.5% YoY in Q1-Q3

Da Ming International sold 1.38 million tonnes and processed 2.15 million tonnes of stainless steel in the first three quarters of 2022, down by 2.5% and 0.8% respectively from the prior year period, and its carbon steel sales and process volume increased by 22.0% and 13.8% YoY respectively to 2.91 million tonnes and 3.13 million tonnes during the period, according to the operational data released by the company on January 25.
In the third quarter, the company's stainless steel sales recorded 510,095 tonnes, up by 11.1% YoY and 12.2% MoM, and the process volume was 774,440 tonnes, up by 9.2% YoY and 8% MoM. The company sold around 1.15 million tonnes of carbon steel during the period, up by 42.5% YoY and 21.5% MoM, and the process volume of the material was about 1.21 million tonnes, up by 34.1% YoY and 17.7% MoM.
