JA Solar gets approval to issue convertible bonds of no more than RMB10 billion

JA Solar announced on October 20 that the company got approval from China Securities Regulatory Commission to issue convertible bonds of no more than RMB10 billion (USD1.38 billion).
According to the previous announcement, the total amount of the convertible bonds to be issued this time will not exceed RMB100 billion (USD1.38 billion). Among the net proceeds, RMB2.7 billion (USD372 million) will be used for the third phase of the JA Solar Baotou 20-gigawatt pulling and slicing project, RMB2.8 billion (USD386 million) will be used for the 10-gigawatt high-efficiency cell and 5-gigawatt high-efficiency module project, RMB1.5 billion (USD207 million) will be injected into the 10-gigawatt high-efficiency solar cell project and RMB2 billion (USD275 million) will be used for working capacity replenishment.
