On October 5, the safety production license of Niaoshan Mine under Longmay Mining Group Hegang Mining Company was officially issued, marking the formal production of Niaoshan Mine.
Construction application for the Niaoshan Coal Mine was accepted by the National Development and Reform Commission in July 2005 and its formal construction started in December 2011. With a resource reserve of 186 million tons and mineable reserve of 96 million tons, the mine has a designed annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons within 57-year serve life.
