CAAM: China's auto sales increase by 32.1% YOY in Aug

Latest data released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) showed that in August 2022, domestic auto production and sales volume reached 2.395 million units and 2.383 million units respectively, respectively up by 38.3% and 32.1% year on year. And data from January to August were 16.97 million units and 16.86 million units, an increase of 4.8% and 1.7% YOY respectively, marking the first double increases of production and sales since the second quarter of this year.
