Chinese stainless steel prices saw different trends during this month. Prices of 304 grade stainless HRC and CRC, and 300 series stainless steel bar in major markets of China dropped during the month on soft demand and the decrease in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of 201 grade stainless HRC and CRC, 430 grade stainless CRC and 304 grade stainless seamless pipe went up mainly supported by the increase in steel mills' EXW prices. Customers still purchased materials sparingly due to insufficient orders and the market sales performance did not become better.
