Lopal to cooperate on 30,000tpy lithium carbonate project with other companies

Lopal announced that Lopal, Tangshan Xinfeng Lithium Co., Ltd., Yichun Shidai New Energy Resources Co., Ltd. ("Yichun Shidai") and Yifeng Shidai New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. ("the JV") signed share transfer agreements on September 7, 2022. According to the agreements, Lopal will pay a price of RMB1 (USD0.14) to obtain the 61% stake held by Yichun Shidai in the JV, corresponding to RMB610 million (USD87.68 million) registration capital, and Tangshan Xinfeng Lithium will pay RMB1 (USD0.14) to obtain the 10% stake held by Yichun Shidai in the JV, corresponding to RMB100 million (USD14.37 million) registration capital.
Lopal, Tangshan Xinfeng Lithium and Yichun Shidai plan to cooperate on a 30,000tpy lithium carbonate project which will be executed by the JV and total investment will be no more than RMB1.5 billion (USD0.22 billion).
