Hunan aims to complete the ultra-low emission transformation in steel industry by 2025, according an implementation plan recently issued by the local government.
The plan, which focuses on energy saving and emission reduction during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period, also calls for a higher percentage of NEV in total new car sales to around 20% by 2025, and non-fossil energy shall account for nearly 22% of the total energy consumption by the end of the five-year plan period.
