Xiangfenghua to raise investment of RMB1.8 billion to build 80,000tpy artificial graphite anode material integration project

On August 7th, Xiangfenghua, which signed an Investment Agreement with the government of Pengxi County, Suining City, Sichuan Province on May 28th, 2021 to invest RMB1.2 billion (USD177.60 million) in building a 60,000tpy high-end artificial graphite anode material integrated production base project, announced that it will make additional investment based on the original investment agreement and the two parties will sign the Additional Investment Agreement under friendly negotiation.
The original investment agreement was signed for the phase one project, namely the 60,000tpy high-end artificial graphite anode material integrated production base project. Xiangfenghua plans to make additional investment of RMB1.8 billion (USD266.41 million) for the phase two project, namely the 80,000tpy artificial graphite anode material integration project. Thus, Xiangfenghua will totally invest RMB3 billion (USD444.01 million) in the construction project of the artificial graphite anode material integration project in Pengxi County. The whole project will be built in two phases and the construction of the phase one project will be finished within three years.

Thus, Xiangfenghua will totally invest RMB3 billion (USD444.01 million) in the construction project of the artificial graphite anode material integration project in Pengxi County. The whole project will be built in two phases and the construction of the phase one project will be finished within three years.
