  • IEA predicts global coal consumption to return to historic peak recorded in 2013

    A new report released on Wednesday by the International Energy Agency (IEA) warned that, assuming China's economy recovers in the second half of 2022 as expected, the global coal consumption of the year would rise by 0.Asian Metal Copyright .Asian Metal Copyright7% to reach about 8 billion tonnes, matching the historic peak reached in 2013.
