Ningxia's raw coal production up by 12.4% YOY in H1 2022

Raw coal producers above designated size in Ningxia reported production of 46.73 million tons in the first half of 2022, representing an increase of 12.4% from the year-ago period, 0.7 percentage points higher than that of the first five months, according to data released by Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission.
In H1 2022, the production of bitumite and coking coal increased by 13.3% and 7.1% YoY to 43.86 million tons and 2.35 million tons respectively, while that of anthracite declined by 24.7% YoY to 499,000 tons.
From January to June, raw coal companies above designated size in Ningxia reported sales of 38.99 million tons, up by 2.8% from the same period of last year. As of the end of June, raw coal inventory in the whole region totaled around 2.36 million tons.
