Recently, the first trial production of wear-resistant NM400XT ultra-high strength martensitic steel through low temperature curling process of Hesteel Tang Steel co., Ltd. was successful, filling the blank of the material for autos.
After testing, the mechanical property of the steel reaches 1,416MPa with elongation after rupture, cold bending, Brinell hardness and other properties meeting national standards. The product can reduce the car body weight by 8%.
