According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Economy of Brazil, in June, Brazil exported 32.116 million tons of iron ore, up by 26.4% MOM while down by 4.3% YoY. Among them, 22.412 million tons were exported to China, up by 42% from the previous month while down by 3.8% from a year earlier, accounting for 69.8% of the total export volume.
In the first half of 2022, Brazil exported 154 million tons of iron ore, down by 7.5% YoY, of which 100 million tons were exported to China, down by 7.3% YoY.
