Belgium-based Nyrstar is planning to expand operations at its Clarksville zinc plant in Tennessee with the addition of a new gallium and germanium processing facility, one which will make Clarksville the top provider of those metals in the U
The company says that the proposed $90 million facility would process residue from the zinc plant's existing production ponds.
