Shandong to fully complete ultra-low emission transformation of coking industry by end of 2023

Recently, 8 departments of Shandong Province including Department of Ecology and Environment jointly issued the "Coking Industry Ultra-Low Emission Transformation Implementation Plan of Shandong Province" to promote ultra-low emission transformation of the entire coking industry, push forward high-quality development of the industry and continue to improve ambient air quality.

The "Plan" pointed out that before the end of September 2023, cities in the Yellow River Basin will take the lead in completing the ultra-low emission transformation of the coking industry; before the end of 2023, the province will fully complete the ultra-low emission transformation of the coking industry; for the proposed coking production capacity, it should fully realize the ultra-low emission, when it is put into operation.
