POSCO suspends some production lines

On June 13, 2022, POSCO announced that it stopped some production lines at its steel mill in Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. These lines mainly produce steel products used in household appliances and high quality building materials. As a result, the mill will see a daily production reduction of about 7,500 tons of wire rods and 4,500 tons of cold-rolled steel. The suspension was mainly resulted from a strike of freight workers' union under the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions on June 7, which disrupted logistics across the country.
