Shanxi, China's top coal producing province, seeks to accelerate the resumption of operation and construction of coal mines that meet certain conditions to release more advanced coal capacity, in a bid to speed up its clean energy transition and enhance energy supply security, according to a spokesperson of Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission.
