On June 9, the People's Government of Yunnan Province issued the "Implementation Plan for Comprehensive Work on Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction in Yunnan Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan", which pointed out that the energy consumption per unit of GDP in the province would drop by more than 13% compared with that in 2020 and the total energy consumption would be reasonably controlled. The electric furnace short-process steelmaking process will be promoted, and ultra-low emission transformation of the iron and steel industry continues to be carried out. By 2025, the iron and steel industry will fully complete the ultra-low emission transformation.
