Magnesite: Part of the magnesite mines resumed production, but most mining companies held their prices firm in March as they had no inventory pressure though the demand remained weak.
Caustic calcined magnesia: Most producers in Haicheng and Xiuyan resumed production but only less than half of the producers in Dashiqiao resumed production due to the epidemic prevention and control. Though the demand remained weak, most producers raised their prices based on increased gas prices and limited logistic.
Dead burned magnesia: Most producers in Haicheng and Xiuyan resumed production but only less than half of the producers in Dashiqiao resumed production due to the epidemic prevention and control. Due to the weak demand and limited logistic, most producers lowered their prices under heavy inventory pressure.
