Generally speaking, the domestic section steel and steel pipe market continued running slowly during the month dragged by the new wave of pandemic, though it was the traditional peak season. With more and more downstream projects halting operation, the demand shrank. Besides, the frequent price fluctuation as well as the slow delivery due to the pandemic control weakened end users' purchasing activities to a large extent. However, both steel mills and traders remained eager to lift prices boosted by the rising prices of raw materials as well as the low stocks. The pandemic control also forced steel mills to slow down production and the supply reduced.
