UK issues transition anti-dumping and anti-subsidy review against hot-rolled flat and coil products from China

On 5 April 2022, the Trade Remedies Authority of UK issued a notice to initiate the transition review of anti-dumping and countervailing measures on certain flat and coil products of iron, non-alloy or other alloy steel whether or not in coils originating in China and determine whether the measures would be likely to continue or recur if anti-dumping and countervailing amount were no longer applied to those goods
. The involved products are currently classifiable within the following commodity code(s): 7208100000, 7208250000, 7208260000, 7208270000, 7208360000, 7208370010, 7208370090, 7208380010, 7208380090, 720839001 0, 7208390090, 7208400000, 7208400010, 7208400090, 7208521000, 7208529900, 7208531000, 7208539000, 7208540000, 7211130000, 72111400 10, 7211140090, 7211190010, 7211190090, 7225191090, 7225309000, 7225406090, 7225409000, 7226191091, 7226191095, 7226919100 and 7226919900 . Products of stainless steel and grain-oriented silicon electrical steel; products of tool steel and high-speed steel products, not in coils, without patterns in relief, of a thickness exceeding 10mm and of a width of 600mm or more; products, not in coils, without patterns in relief, of a thickness of 4 . 75mm or more but not exceeding 10mm and of a width of 2 . 05m or more were excluded . The period of investigation was from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 and the injury examination period was from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2022.
