BYD Auto officially announces suspension of gasoline vehicles production

BYD Auto announced on April 3 that it has suspended the production of gasoline vehicles from March 2022 in accordance with its strategic development needs.
As stated by BYD, its automotive sector will focus on pure electric and PHEV businesses in the future, which marks that BYD became the world's first automaker that officially ended production of gasoline vehicles.
According to the preliminary sales data released by BYD, it sold 104,900 vehicles in March, all of which were NEV, and no production and sales of gasoline vehicles were carried out.
