Shanxi deploys special rectification work for production safety in four industries

According to Shanxi provincial government website, this year marks the end of the three-year special rectification campaign for production safety. In order to effectively improve safety supervision level of the four industries in Shanxi Province, including coal mine, dangerous chemical, non-coal mine, metallurgy and industry and trade, the Emergency Management Department of Shanxi Province recently made arrangements for the special rectification work for production safety in these four industries.
In coal mine industry, related departments should continuously promote the advanced management of major coal mine disasters, accelerate the construction of intelligent mines and intelligent drilling working surface and severely crack down on illegal activities such as mining beyond coal seams, falsification of drawings and concealment of working surface.
In dangerous chemical industry, related departments must promote centralized management for hazardous chemical safety risks throughout the province.
For non-coal mine industry, related departments need to accelerate the formulation of the minimum mining scale and standards for minimum length of service for the main non-coal mines in Shanxi Province.
In metallurgy and industry and trade field, departments should reinvestigate of the 25 key law enforcement matters including iron and steel, aluminum processing, explosive dust, etc.
