Yunnan builds 5.38 million tons of green aluminum production capacity in 2021

On March 28, the Yunnan Provincial Bureau of Statistics and the Yunnan Survey Corps of the National Bureau of Statistics jointly released the statistical report on the national economic and social development of Yunnan Province in 2021. In 2021, the output of ten kinds of non-ferrous metals in the province was about 5.72 million tons, an increase of 11.8%, ranking the fourth in the country. Among them, the output of primary aluminum was about 3.31 million tons, an increase of 27.8%, accounting for 8.6% of the country.
The added value of industries above designated size increased by 8.8%. Industrial transformation and upgrading was accelerated. Throughout the year, the production capacity of green aluminum was 5.38 million tons, and the production capacity of monocrystalline silicon rod and chip reached 90GW. The cluster development of the whole industrial chain was steadily promoted, and the construction of "China's green aluminum valley" and "photovoltaic capital" was accelerated.
