Shantou starts building 550MW fishery-photovoltaic power integrated project

On March 28th, the construction of a 400MW Chaonan Longtian and 150MW Chaoyang Heping fishery-photovoltaic power integrated project was formally launched in Shantou, Guangdong.
The project was invested by a modern energy group holding company, Hengyun Enterprises, together with Shantou Xinpeng Investment Co., Ltd. and Shantou Huayue Investment Co., Ltd. With a total designed capacity of 550MWp, the project is one of the largest fishery-photovoltaic power integrated projects in Asia currently. The project, which has a total investment of around RMB2.3 billion (USD361.11 million) and is expected to go into operation in the first half of 2023, will generate clean power of 600 million KWh per year on average, equivalent to the annual reduction of standard coal consumption of 200,000t.
