In February 2022, the top ten crude steel producers worldwide were China, India, Japan, USA, Russia, South Korea, Germany, Turkey, Brazil and Iran.
According to statistics, in February 2022 the crude steel output of China was 75 million tons (estimated), down by 10.0% YOY; that of India reached 10 . 1 million tons, rising by 7 . 6% YOY; that of Japan was 7 . 3 million tons, dropping by 2 . 3% YOY; that of USA was 6 . 4 million tons, increasing by 1 . 4% YOY.
Meanwhile, the crude steel output of Russia was 5.8 million tons (estimated), down by 1 . 4% YOY; that of South Korea was 5 . 2 million tons, decreasing by 6 . 0% YOY; that of Germany was 3 . 2 million tons, up by 3 . 8% YOY.
The output of Turkey was 3 million tons in February 2022, a decrease of 3.3% YOY; that of Brazil was 2 . 7 million tons, down by 6 . 9% YOY; that of Iran was 2 . 5 million tons (estimated), increasing by 3 . 7% YOY.
