U.S. launches second sunset review of anti-dumping and countervailing investigation on aluminum extrusions from China

On March 1, 2022, U.S. Department of Commerce initiated the second sunset review of anti-dumping and countervailing investigation on aluminum extrusions imported from China. At the same time, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) launched the second anti-dumping and countervailing sunset review industrial injury investigation on the products involved in China to examine whether the material injury caused by the import of the products involved to the domestic industry of the United States will continue or recur within a reasonably foreseeable period if the current anti-dumping and countervailing measures are cancelled. Interested parties shall register with the U.S. Department of Commerce within 10 days from the date of this announcement. Interested parties shall submit their responses to ITC before March 31, 2022, and submit comments on the adequacy of the response to the case to ITC no later than May 13, 2022.
