MEE to boost control and prevention of manganese slag pollution

On March 15th, Huang Runqiu, Minister of Ecology and Environment, presided over an executive meeting, which reviewed and approved in principle the Technical Specification for Manganese Slag Pollution Control. The meeting emphasized that the control and prevention of manganese slag pollution should be boosted. The environmental pollution risks in collection, storage, transportation, pretreatment, utilization, filling, backfilling and landfilling of manganese slag should be reduced.
